Scholars are available to address general audiences and lead Professional Development and Teacher Training Workshops on topics listed. Their expertise will add to the presentation of the exhibit and/or curriculum development in your school.


CULTURAL GEOGRAPHY


Examines how aspects of African Culture have traveled throughout the Diaspora a(particularly the Caribbean and the Americas)

 

RELATIONSHIPS:
African Art & Communication


Focus on themes that characterize the development of African Culture in the exhibit. This lecture assists with research and curriculum planning to promote:
  • an appreciation for the multicultural society in which we live;
  • an awareness of and appreciation for African antiquities.
