cuban wallTRANSART will provide a unique and innovative opportunities to:

--meet and interact with the citizens of Cuba,
--discover and examine the impact of Africa on Cuba's culture and society,
--Explore and enjoy the art, music and dance.

Don't expect the standard Caribbean vacation. This is not a tour. It is an education and research adventure designed for small groups as well as for individual exploration in order to capture the magic and mystique of Cuba. Your participation is designed to result in meaningful interaction and dialogue with the people of Cuba.

Working with a network of entities in Cuba, TRANSART is able to provide pathways that promote such interactions in which relationships will be mutually beneficial to TRANSART travelers and to the people of Cuba. Our group will be lead by professionals living and working in Cuba in the arts education, history, religion, as well as economic and community development, medicine and other aspects of Cuban society.

Our one-week program provides ample opportunity for you during the late afternoons and evenings to explore on your own.
